Hydraulic Forging Manipulator

The hydraulic forging manipulator works in coordination with the electro-hydraulic forging hammer, primarily for clamping shaft-type forgings, repositioning materials, and performing forging operations.
It features a robust frame with laterally connected side plates and is equipped with a gripping mechanism that offers jaw rotation and 360° rotary motion to ensure precise handling.

All movements are hydraulically driven, and the travel mechanism can be controlled by either electric motor or hydraulic power, depending on operational requirements.
The manipulator supports precise motion along three axes: horizontal movement, vertical tilt, and longitudinal rotation. Stepwise speed adjustment is available for all motion axes.

The forging manipulator provides three modes of operation: manual, semi-automatic, and automatic.
Through the control console, the operator can choose manual handling or switch to automatic mode, where operations follow preset steps in sync with the hammer’s pulse signals.

Automated control is implemented via a PLC system to ensure precision and high efficiency.
This manipulator greatly enhances productivity, improves forging quality, reduces labor intensity, and contributes to the mechanization of the forging process.

Manipulator Types:

• Traversing-Type Forging Manipulator: Capable of executing main trolley movement, jaw frame lifting/lowering, tilting, jaw head rotation, and clamping/releasing actions.
• Rotating-Type Forging Manipulator: Includes all the functions of the traversing type, with added frame rotation capability to meet more complex operation requirements.
